Comments (0) Why do sizing guides differ so much?
I’m really confused as to what size clothing I am. According to online sizing guides for each shop I am based on waist size:
Dorothy Perkins-16
New Look- 14
Peacocks- 18 (!)
Matalan-16
Asda- 16
I’m usually a 12-14. My waist size is 32. But according to bust and hip sizes i’m between 10 and 14! Why is this?

32 inch waist is technically a UK size 14, but yes sizes do vary a lot from shop to shop. I think it’s time to just scrap sizing and use measurements instead.
