Online Shopping At Asda

Which do you think can be the cheapest way for food shopping?
I know it seems a very strange question, but believe me for a single man living alone can be very difficult to find the best way for food shopping.
Online? Street market? At the supermarket? Or ……Any combination?
Supermarket for example like tesco, asda etc etc one type of food & Street market another?
I hope I can find a lovely experienced woman who can help me with this because I have no idea!!!
Thank you very much
Sounds like you’re fishing for a “lovely experienced woman” more than a better shopping experience! Okay, just kidding…
Here’s what you do…you take a notebook with you, and write down the prices of all your groceries at one store. Write down price per pound on your meats and any other item that goes by the pound. Next time you go shopping, try a new store and do the same thing. Compare the two lists and see what the better deals were. You might want to try another store, so that you get an even better comparison.
It all depends on your needs and wants. If you don’t mind the inconvenience of shopping at a farmer’s market, you can get some great deals on produce there, plus you know where it came from. I only have one grocery store in the whole county I live in, so I don’t have much of a choice (except in the summer when I can go to the farmer’s market).
I don’t know anything about shopping online, but I would imagine they have some service charges added to your grocery total, so that would have to be figured into your food budget. Having never tried it, I don’t know if it would be of benefit. Of course, living where I do, it wouldn’t benefit me at all. The biggest drawback I can see of doing your shopping online is that you’ll not have the opportunity to meet a “lovely experienced woman” who can show you how to test the produce for freshness!! <*)))><
