online shopping blogs fashion shop
question about fashion?

well i am very passionate about fashion,i spend all my spare time creating new outfits, looking at fashion magazines&,fashion blogs, looking at clothes(both online and in the shops)and looking at op shops to see what peices i can find, going to the library to collect books on fashion, watching runway shows etc.its a very major part of my life and i don’t really think anyone i know can understand my love for it,however i do constinetly get complimented on my style, anyway i was just wondering if anyone else has the same sort of passion for fashion(not to sound like a bratz doll or anything lol,,)and if anyone is currently,or has previously worked in the fashion industry can they tell me some of what its like?
thank you so much in advance :)

Fashion is fabulous and I was very much like you when I was younger. Unfortunately i got caught up in the modelling business which was constant pressure and didnt fulfill my passion so please dont do the same! I’ve recently begun styling in a store called h&m and am hoping to change it around a bit and trying to move my self further away from modelling fashion industry and doing more behind the scenes. It’s ALOT of work and stress but so worth it when your looking at what you’ve created. Just walking down the street and spotting someone wearing your design is such a thrill. I would say if you wanted to eventually start making big money in this business begin by starting small as a secretary or something in a big fashion industry and try to work yourself up to a big time designer. this takes time but by the end it is so satisfying and worth the wait. This way you can even have a second job as a freelance designer and the more contacts you build up in the business the more chance you have of really making it. You could also do this with magazines, think devil wears prada sort of stuff, base your career on promotions and reasearching fashion. However if your not too into the whole waiting thing and are confident in your style and designs then just jump straight into it and see what happens :) good luck for the future
