What is the cheapest way of getting computer games and DVDs in Australia?

I will soon be moving to Oz and want to klnow which shops , either online or high street are the cheapest

If you are talking about ‘new release’ games and DVDs, then you might have to shop around. Online sales might work, but keep in mind you’re paying for postage too. The release schedule for DVDs is different in Australia compared to the US and the UK, and games distributors tend to ‘forget’ Australia when supplies run low in the US/UK.

If you are prepared to wait, the price of DVDs and games drops after about 6 months. Stores like EB Games (of which there are Aussie branches) will flog games cheap. Bigger department stores may or may not realise when they are ‘giving away’ good titles.

I know this is not a definitive list, but like all consumers you just have to look around for what you are prepared to buy…
